The current building housing this Lake Granbury area hotel was started when two blind brothers, Jesse and Jacob Nutt, established a small mercantile business on our Granbury, Texas site in 1866, erecting the beautiful hand hewn limestone building in 1893. The Nutt Historic Hotel has a long history in the accommodation and lodging business and has been in use as a lodging facility continuously since 1919.
